Log in with Roblox

You log in through Roblox (OAuth). We never see your Roblox password. Roblox only gives us your user ID, username, display name and avatar.

Cookies and your browser

• A session cookie (__Host-bt_session) keeps you logged in for 7 days. It is signed so it cannot be faked, and nothing about the session is stored on our server.
• A short login cookie lives for 10 minutes while you log in through Roblox, then it is removed.
• Your language choice is kept in your browser's local storage, only on your device.

What we store

• That your Roblox account has logged in to the site: the time of the first and the last login.
• My account shows the data the game sends: playtime, ban status, money, rebirths, kills, deaths and clan. Only you and the Bug Tycoon moderators can see it.
• Reports you send: your Roblox user ID and username, the type, who you reported (nickname or clan tag), proof links and your text.
• To stop spam we keep a salted hash of your IP address with each report. The address itself is not stored and cannot be read back from the hash.

Why

Reports are reviewed by the Bug Tycoon moderators to find cheaters and players who break the rules. Moderators can stop an account from sending reports or appeals if it sends spam.

How long

Reports that are not confirmed are deleted after 30 days. Confirmed reports are kept as proof in case of an appeal.
